Celtic supporters haven’t exactly been taking the news that Rangers scudded Aberdeen 4-0 to increase their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to 11 points very well.
A quick glance over on Kerrydale Meltdown is always a pleasure on weekends like this but on Sky Sports’ live coverage of the match Rangers got to see the frustration first hand.
Ex-Celtic and Aberdeen defender Charlie Mulgrew was on punditry duties alongside ex-Rangers striker Kris Boyd and was particularly sore after the defeat.
Cutting a dejected figure, Mulgrew bemoaned the decision to award Rangers a penalty and was excruciatingly made to sit through and analyse all of Rangers’ goals.
His frustrated figure caught the eye of Rangers fans who took to Twitter to react to Mulgrew’s coverage of the thumping Ibrox victory.
The Rangers fans didn’t hold back as they let rip on the Fleetwood Town defender who looked forlorn on the Ibrox press podium.
Charlie Mulgrew hasn’t looked this upset at Ibrox since he got sent off for his vicious assault on Kyle Lafferty.

Obviously I’m coming at it from a position of bias but Mulgrew is pretty hopeless at this right?

Rangers dumped the desperate Dons 4-0 at Ibrox courtesy of goals from Ryan Kent, Kemar Roofe, Scott Arfield and captain James Tavernier.
The result leaves Rangers eleven points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, with Celtic having two games in hand to come.
Mulgrew wasn’t the only pundit to catch the eye of Rangers fans either – a club legend’s coverage of the match also earned the applause of the Ibrox support.
