Rangers fans in stitches at “embarrassing” Celtic fan SFA conspiracy letter

Rangers narrowed the gap between themselves and Celtic after the weekend’s fixtures as they look to end the Parkhead club’s dominance of Scottish football.

Our Old Firm rivals have won the last nine domestic trophies and the last eight league championships. In recent years, they have been far and away the dominant club domestically.

Yet, with Rangers lighting a fire underneath them, some of their support are genuinely convinced that there’s a conspiracy to dismantle them. Seriously.

After Rangers were awarded what can only be described as two stonewall penalties at the weekend, whilst Celtic denied one of their own, the Celtic Supporter’s Association have written an open letter to Ian Maxwell, Chief Executive of the SFA, regarding referees.

Once again, seriously.

In it, they talk of historic biases to Rangers and some seriously butt hurt complaining/intimating that everyone’s out to get them.

Yes, them, the eight in a row winners and winners of the last nine domestic trophies. Tom Boyd would be proud.

This mental letter comes despite Oliver Ntcham somehow escaping a red card for a punch on Josh Vela in the draw with Hibs and Celtic being handed their equaliser on a plate by some seriously questionable refereeing in the build-up.

The pressure which those certain conspiratorial Celtic fans want to put on the referees in Scotland is frightening.

This attitude is juxtaposed with a blatant, clear denial that Rangers pose a genuine threat to their dominance on the field.

Needless to say, Rangers fans have been passing plenty of judgement of their own on the conspiracy nuts.

If this is how this breed of Celtic fan is responding to their side dropping two points, just imagine what they’d be like should we win the league title come May.
