Rangers fans have hijacked SUPER-Hi x Neeka song Following the Sun in homage to the Ibrox club’s newest hero Antonio Colak.

The Gers have adapted a special version of the pop banger where the lyrics have been changed to show their appreciation for the Croatian striker’s explosive start to life in Glasgow.

The 28-year-old forward has shown an immense level of application and finishing to help propel the club to the Champions League group stages and at the moment, Antonio Colak looks unstoppable.

A different kind of striker than what Rangers have had recently, the forward has taken full advantage of an injury to Kemar Roofe and issues with Alfredo Morelos to become the club’s top marksman.

Antonio Colak followed up his match-winning goal against PSV in the Champions League playoff with an impressive double in the 4-0 win over Ross County.

In two supreme finishes, Colak unorthodoxly volleys the ball into the far corner for his first from a Scott Wright cross before polishing off a wonderfully worked move in the second half.

Rangers fans pay homage to Antonio Colak with new song

These goals mean that it’s seven strikes for Antonio Colak in seven games and the Rangers fans have been showing their appreciation with a special song for the forward.

Reimagining SUPER-Hi x Neeka song Following the Sun in honour of Antonio Colak, Rangers fans have adapted a catchy version of the track which we reckon will be echoing out around the stadium and in pubs across the country if the striker continues in his current vein.

The Antonio Colak song is as follows:

If you’re looking for a striker, number 9 for Rangers, Antonio Colak

“Somewhere in the box he’s scoring, the Rangers boys adore him, Antonio Colak.”

To get an idea of how the song should sound, here’s the original.

Now, the next task is to try and get this catchy song out of your head – especially if Antonio Colak continues to do the business and score for Rangers.
