Rangers stunning 3-2 comeback victory over Braga might’ve stolen the show at Ibrox last night, but the Union Bears Warriors inspired tifo was a welcome supplement.
The Rangers fans group are famed for their passionate and ambitious Rangers displays, particularly on European nights, and once again they failed to disappoint for the trip of Braga.
As the side’s made their way out of the tunnel, the Broomloan was draped with a timely reminder of those who’d come to Ibrox and found out the hard way how difficult Rangers can be on a European night.
Inspired by cult classic The Warriors, the stunning stand encapsulating tifo invited the Portuguese club to come out and play.
And come and play they did.
Braga established a two-goal lead at Ibrox with two ruthless finishes but they struggled to hold on to their lead as Ibrox came to life in the final 20 minutes of the match.
As Ianis Hagi cut inside and fired Rangers a lifeline in the second half, Ibrox took to its feet and Rangers blew the on-form Portuguese outfit aside.

For this Braga team to lose a two-goal lead and for Rangers to be inspired to turn a match which was escaping them around is a testament to the power of the Ibrox crowd.
And just like the Union Bears tifo demanded, Rangers fans have been revelling in the invite for the Portuguese club to come out to play in Govan last night:
