Most Rangers might be coy about the club’s title chances after the Ibrox side stretched their lead over Celtic to 11 points this weekend – but it won’t stop them jumping on the chance to goad their rivals.
Rangers currently hold an impressive lead over rivals Celtic – who albeit have two games in hand – with the pressure mounting in the east-end and calls for their manager Neil Lennon to be sacked.

Summer signing Shane Duffy – for whom Celtic reportedly paid a £2m loan fee and signed on a £25k per week loan deal [Sky Sports] – has also come in for a barrage of criticism for his lacklustre performances.
Now, the big Republic of Ireland defender, 28, has added insult to injury by uploading an image on his Instagram which was captioned with a “middle finger” sign.
The image was immediately taken down but not before the Celtic support jumped on a post which added insult to injury over a weekend where Rangers laid down a Scottish Premiership marker.
Duffy would later re-upload the picture with a “flex” emoji and urged fans to “relax” explaining that he accidentally hit the wrong button.
It’s about as banter years as it gets with a frothing Celtic support eager to take out their frustrations on any little slip as the pressure continues to mount across the city.
Needless to say, Rangers fans have been finding the entire thing pretty hilarious as they watch their rivals work themselves into a shoot over the mistake.

The frenzy in the aftermath of the tweet topped off what’s been a superb weekend for the Rangers support as the club continues their fine form this season with a 4-0 win over Aberdeen.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has also been discussing the only minor controversy of the match as the Anfield legend admits that he is baffled as to why the situation has arisen.
