Rangers fans have gone wild for a passionate tweet from Alfredo Morelos after he landed the Premiership Player of the Month award for March.

Morelos struggled to produce goals over the first half of the season but he rediscovered his touch following the turn of the year.

The Colombia international has six goals in his last nine appearances in all competitions, netting in all three Premiership matches this month.

“I am very happy for me and for the team,” he said after his award win was announced on Tuesday [Rangers.co.uk]. “This is a big moment and I am so happy for me and for my family and I want to say thank you for the award.”

“I am very happy with my form, everything that has been happening football-wise on the pitch and with everything that has happened with the club this month.

“First, we became the Champions, and now I have the Player of the Month award too, so I am really happy. I hope to continue to contribute more to the team.”

The 24-year-old then followed up his official club interview with a passionate tweet.

“Never hang your head, never say you can’t, never limit yourself, and never stop believing in yourself,” he wrote [translated] alongside a number of emojis.

Morelos is an extremely popular figure with Rangers fans and many were delighted to see him receive individual recognition for his recent strong performances.
