Rangers fans everywhere are waking up to their first official glimpse of the highly-anticipated Castore home kit – and it’s left some feeling pretty emotional.

The Glasgow side’s pioneering kit deal with the ambitious Liverpool based premium sportswear brand has all eyes on Ibrox as the unique relationship officially begins.

The home kit went on sale via the Castore website this morning with the designer brand taking 50,000 pre-orders for the 1st of August.

The kit itself has got many Rangers fans talking, with the launch of the new jersey largely being received positively by supporters.

But it’s in the passionate “new era” marketing video, released alongside the home jersey, which is giving fans “goosebumps”.

The video shows a young boy growing up through the glory years of Rangers alongside his father, a familiar feeling for most Gers supporters.

The video then shows the youngster all grown up and outside Ibrox today, joined by his own son and eventually his father too.

It certainly stirs the heart and the work gone into the production of the video hasn’t gone unnoticed by the Rangers faithful.

Rangers announced their new “multi-year” kit deal with Castore in mid-May, describing the deal “as one of the most valuable commercial partnerships in the club’s recent history” [Rangers].

The club also revealed that Castore “deliberately selected Rangers” as their “flagship club” as they look to partner with 3-5 other major clubs across Europe in the next 18 months.
