Rangers fans flock to Glasgow store in order to pick up special Ibrox Pepsi

Rangers fans have been flocking to a Glasgow store to buy special Ianis Hagi Pepsi cans which are being stocked in a southside café.

Ibrox star Hagi, 22, is the face of the famous cola drink in his home country and is amongst the most marketable sporting talents in Romania.

The son of legendary Real Madrid, Barcelona and Galatasaray attacking midfielder Gheorghe Hagi, the talented Romanian international is very much used to the limelight back home.

For Ibrox supporters desperate to get their hands on a special Pepsi can with one of their Ibrox heroes on the front they’ve sourced a spot to indulge in his fame right here in Scotland.

The Transylvania Café on Victoria Road is one of a number of Romanian food outlets in the city and supporters have travelled from near and far to get their hands on a can.

Plenty have been taking to Twitter in celebration of securing a can and many supporters will be hoping to pick up their own as Hagi is recognised by the soft drink giant.

Ianis Hagi joined Rangers last summer in a reported £3m deal and has gone on to cement himself as an important member of the Ibrox squad.

The talented midfielder has certainly contributed in this legendary campaign despite being in and out of the Ibrox side this season.

Hagi has played 41 times for Rangers this season, netting seven goals and laying on twelve assists.

The midfielder’s link-up with Pepsi also saw Hagi involved in a marketing campaign alongside the likes of Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.
