The agent of Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has posted a promotional post about the striker on Twitter amid talk over the Colombian striker’s future.

Morelos’ exclusion from the marketing of the club’s new kit and a spate of reports linking the striker to the likes of Everton, Newcastle United and Napoli has fans fearing Morelos’ time at Ibrox may be up.

Now, World in Motion agent Michael Gorman posted on Twitter talking up the player’s performances last season in a seemingly promotional post.

The post talks up Alfredo Morelos’ performances and scoring rate in the Europa League, naming the striker alongside the likes of Man Utd’s Bruno Fernandes and Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard.

Gorman has also been in the press in recent weeks talking down links between Morelos and Napoli, started by an interview with agent Miki Bouraoui.

Bouraoui claimed that he had facilitated conversations between Morelos and Napoli [CN24] before Gorman shot those claims down in the Colombian press.

Gorman called Bouroui a “liar” before claiming “it has nothing to do with us or with Morelos” [Golombianos].

Whilst Gary McAllister urged Morelos “to focus on the new season” amid transfer talk, Rangers fans are sceptical of Gorman’s Twitter post.

Many of the club’s supporters are seeing it as a sure-fire attempt to increase the striker’s profile and punt him out to another club.
