Plenty of Rangers fans have reacted with delight after Steven Gerrard reiterated his commitment to the club on Tuesday morning [Rangers FC Twitter].
The manager shot down rumours that he was considering resigning from his post after a wretched run of domestic form.

The Gers have slipped up on four occasions in the league since the turn of the year and were dumped out of the Scottish Cup by Hearts on Saturday evening.
However, Gerrard says he’s staying put.
“I am all in,” he said, as quoted by Rangers FC Twitter. “I signed up to something here and I knew there would be real setbacks and this is when the club needs me most to stay on, fight and push forward on the progress we have made in a lot of areas whilst learning to ensure the mistakes don’t happen again.”
There were plenty of calls for the manager to go after Saturday’s atrocious showing.

The 1-0 defeat in Edinburgh was the third time the Gers had failed to win at Hearts this season, despite the Jambos being adrift at the bottom of the top-flight.
Yet, it seems that after a few days of reflection, the majority of supporters are on the manager’s side.
The post containing his comments racked up over 2000 likes in an hour and plenty of Bears also sent supportive messages.
