Rangers are planning to open their doors wider for fan media [Four Lads] as popular blogger Four Lads Had a Dream announces they will be given “full press access” by the club.

Largely down to the good work of shareholders and fans group Club 1872, the club has taken the step as it deals with numerous instances of disingenuous reporting from Scottish press outlets.

The move is designed to give supporters greater clarity on issues and provide stronger, less inflammatory content for Rangers fans

Four Lads Had a Dream are undoubtedly one of the strongest voices in Rangers fan media and alongside the likes of Heart & Hand, will enjoy greater access to the club.

Supporters have been routinely left frustrated with the standard and motivations behind coverage of Rangers and this is seen as a proactive move by many.

Fan media will still be able to hold the club up to scrutiny and ask the right kind of questions on behalf of supporters.

It is a move which has been largely welcomed by the Rangers community who are excited that from the recommencement of football names they trust will be in the press room.

The decision to give fan-led media has been in the works for a considerable period of time and is now coming into effect after comments made by Club 1872 in March [Club 1872].
