Rangers winger Ryan Kent has been linked with a move to newly-promoted Premier League side Leeds United with Marcelo Bielsa said to be a keen admirer of the tricky winger.

According to journalist Alan Nixon, via the Scottish Sun, the Whites have already launched a £10m move for the ex-Liverpool man and want to land him ahead of the new campaign.

Kent, 23, has started the season brightly and has already started adding numbers to his game at a higher rate from last season.

Having joined the Ibrox club with a hefty price tag – reports suggest the player could wind up costing up to £7.5m – £10m would cover the fee spent by Rangers but a reported Liverpool sell-on clause would impact the fee.

Kenty is a key asset to Rangers and even Nixon himself acknowledges that Leeds will have to up their bid to stand any chance of landing the player.

Kent himself is said to be content in Glasgow but should Leeds test Rangers’ resolve with a bigger bid for the player, the decision may well be taken out of his hands.

Ryan Kent is a firm fans favourite at Ibrox and here’s how the Rangers fans reacted to the news the player was interesting Leeds United:
