The SPFL have sent their best wishes to Rangers ahead of the club’s Europa League Round of 32 tie with Royal Antwerp and the club’s fans aren’t buying it.
The Gers are Scotland’s only remaining participant in European competition and the nation’s eyes will be fixated on Steven Gerrard’s men this evening.
But even if the member’s body for Scotland is sending their best wishes, the SPFL aren’t exactly the most popular bunch amongst Rangers fans.
The Ibrox club’s supporters haven’t always seen eye-to-eye with the body and being fair, neither have Rangers.
This is perhaps best summed up by the Gers going to war with the SPFL in the summer, demanding an independent investigation into the end of season vote and into chief exec Neil Doncaster.
Nonetheless, the SPFL has to be seen to be supporting one of its 42 member clubs even if Rangers aren’t always the most popular amongst rival fans in Scotland.
Some might claim that they want the Scottish teams to do well, others can’t bring themselves to cheer on the Gers.
But whatever the case, Rangers fans let the SPFL know exactly what they thought of them as they sent out the Tweet:

Rangers head to Antwerp for the first leg of the tie hopeful they can match last season’s achievements by reaching the Europa League’s last 16.
The Gers are boosted by the return of two key first teamers for the clash but did they make our predicted XI for the clash?
