Rangers fans were delighted to see Kemar Roofe back in action as the forward returned to the fore in the 1-0 win over Hibs.

Roofe’s 20-minute cameo was the reported £3.5m summer signing’s first appearance in a Rangers jersey since he went off at halftime in the 1-0 win over Celtic on January 2nd.

And the former Anderlecht man impressed as he marked his return to action with a smart performance in Edinburgh full of inventiveness and determination.

It’s everything we’ve come to expect from the ex-Leeds United striker, who as it stands is Rangers’ highest-scoring striker in the league (10).

In fact, only Gers captain James Tavernier and Hibs striker Kevin Nisbet have scored more (both 11); not bad for a player who’s suffered two injuries this season.

Roofe will be hoping to get back into the starting line-up before long but Rangers fans everywhere where just happy to see the forward back on the pitch.

The striker caught the eye of a Gers support in buoyant mood as they watched their side run out deserved winners at Easter Road:

The result leaves Rangers 23 points clear in the Scottish Premiership as the Gers march towards a legendary 55th league title, their first league trophy in a decade.

Here’s how the Rangers players rated in the 1-0 win over Hibs as the club took another step towards Scottish Premiership supremacy.
