As Celtic have imploded this season, there’s probably been no pundit who’s turned the screw more than ex-Rangers striker Kris Boyd.
The former Ibrox star has been a joy to watch on Sky Sports as he sends wriggling Celtic fans into meltdown with his coverage of the Parkhead club’s laughable 10IAR attempt – and why not?

For years Rangers fans have been subjected to your Chris Suttons, John Hartsons and any other ex-Celtic star soft enough between the ears to bark nonsense through the idiot box.
Not to mention the rubbish we’ve been subjected to by Tom English, Michael Stewart and anyone else with a distaste for Rangers but no direct link to Parkhead.
However, rumours are now emerging that Celtic fan uproar over Boyd – with some beelin’ supporters even releasing a petition – has led to the striker being taken off their games.
This is completely unconfirmed at present and stems largely from rumours circulating on social media, but should it be true it slaps in the face of Rangers fans subjected to Celtic-led nonsense over the last decade.
It’s not Boyd’s fault they’re rank rotten on the pitch and if Sky Sports have succumbed to the tears of our Parkhead rivals it won’t go down well with Rangers.
We could well find out later this evening with Celtic’s trip to St. Mirren set to be covered by the broadcaster but if Boyd has been cut, Rangers fans want a pair chopped from their coverage.
Ex-Celtic striker Andy Walker and commentator Ian Crocker have come in for huge criticism this season as their salty tears over the death of 10IAR seep into their coverage of Rangers.
If Boyd has been banned from covering Celtic games – and as we say, this is unconfirmed as it stands – then Rangers fans want Walker and Crocker off their matches:

We need to reiterate that this is all based on rumours and there appears to be nothing concrete other than fans discussing it on Twitter but we will find out in due course.
It won’t stop the Rangers supporters loving Boydy’s work however – his latest jibe about the weather had them in stitches this week.
