Rangers fans are calling for the SFA’s compliance officer to review footage of star Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard appearing to elbow an opponent.
The French U21 international had a disappointing day at Rugby Park as Celtic stumbled to a 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock and the frustration clearly got the better of the striker.
The Frenchman – who some in the press have been lavishly valuing at £30m+ in recent weeks – landed his elbow/forearm on Killie defender Stuart Findlay.

Much of the Rangers fans’ frustration comes from the coverage given to Alfredo Morelos for nominal niggles and anything off the ball.
Some of the Ibrox club’s support have taken this as an opportunity to highlight the disparity in reportage between the two and ask if Edouard’s elbow will be investigated.
There’s a genuine belief that had this been the Colombian striker, we’d see reams of content written on it and a witch hunt for a suspension.
Nothing of any interest to the compliance officer here presumably. pic.twitter.com/IVXkFuRTg0

Not usually one for whataboutery but if Morelos had done what St.Edouard had done yesterday he'd have been absolutely slaughtered….and that's before trial by Sportscene.
I wonder is the compliance officer back from furlough yet 👀

Any word lads @ScottishFA on the assault by the Celtic player on the Kilmarnock player in today's game at Rugby Park? I am sure the compliance officer saw it. It was quite visible

Two things if it was Buff – the asst ref would be all over it. Sportscene would be all over it this evening. That’s a Compliance Officer job every day of the week @ScottishFA

Lifted his hands & pushed someone in the face.

Whilst some might have a genuine desire to see the striker suspended, for the most part, for Rangers fans this is more about highlighting the unfair coverage afforded Morelos.
Defender Findlay makes a meal of things and absolutely tries to exacerbate the situation, even if Edouard has raised his hands and could’ve walked.
If this was Alfredo Morelos, some Bears believe there would not be the radio silence on the incident which we’re currently experiencing with Edouard, for whatever reason.
That said, the incident was included in BBC’s Sportscene coverage but the Gers faithful will be watching closely to compare coverage with incidents surrounding El Bufalo this season.
That’s if either striker remains in Glasgow beyond the transfer window.
