Rangers fans have expressed their delight on social media after the club confirmed a major boost ahead of the Champions League third qualifying round second leg against Malmo.
Last week, Rangers announced that full capacity crowds would be permitted at Ibrox going forward, subject to conditions prescribed by the Safety Advisory Group of Glasgow City Council.

The Malmo clash is the first home fixture since that announcement and unsurprisingly, there was huge demand for tickets.
After season ticket holders had snapped up thousands of seats, MyGers members faced hour-long queues when their priority window opened on Monday morning and by the time the general sale started at 3pm, there was barely a seat left in the stadium.
Just before 9pm, the club issued an update to supporters, confirming that Ibrox had sold out.
‘With no away fans, every seat in the house will be filled by Rangers fans,’ read the update [Rangers.co.uk]. ‘It is sure to be a very special occasion and we look forward to hearing the famous Ibrox roar.’
‘Our Manager Steven Gerrard has called on each and every fan to back the team. We cannot wait to hear the noise when the teams come out to play.’

It will be the first time the ground has been packed since a Europa League Last 16 fixture against Bayer Leverkusen in March 2020 and the total lack of away fans also adds a new dimension.
Most season ticket holders have been back at Ibrox at some stage across recent fixtures against Brighton, Real Madrid and Livingston, but for many non-season ticket holders, this will be their first Rangers game for well over a year.
There’s a huge amount riding on the match too, as progression would leave the Gers just one two-legged tie away from the Champions League proper.
Here’s a selection of reactions to the sell-out announcement:
Ahead of the match, an Ibrox star has sent a stirring message to supporters on Twitter after it was confirmed that he is ready to return to action.
