Celtic captain Scott Brown is having a bit of a howler as he faces up to the prospect of Rangers ending his career with a title win at Parkhead.
The Gers are on the verge of a legendary 55th title – their first for a decade – in the season of all seasons for Celtic with the Ibrox side still unbeaten as things stand.

After the weekend’s result Steven Gerrard’s side are now 18 points clear in the Scottish Premiership but perhaps more tellingly, Rangers are seven points or three games from the title.
That third game is at Celtic Park and Scott Brown has been getting grilled on the situation in the press this week with some reports even suggesting he shut down an interview when asked about the situation [Sky Sports].
But not before he did he give a few soundbites about the situation with Scotland’s hardest footballer quickly moving the conversation on.
“We take it one game at a time. We look forward to playing next week and have got to focus on that game and make sure we are ready,” said Brown.

“The gaffer has got to make sure he has got the best team out there possible and we have got to make sure we get a result and get back to winning ways as quickly as possible.
“That’s what this club is all about and this season has not been great for us, to be perfectly honest, and that performance probably does sum up our season – played not too bad throughout the 90 minutes and lose 1-0.”
Needless to say, Rangers fans aplenty have been gutting themselves about the situation on Twitter with Brown getting called out after his antics over the last decade:

That's funny because Rangers have probably forgotten all about this wee man. Stealing a living for a decade then a proper challenge comes along and he's shown up for the complete dud that he is. Back in your lego box

You really couldn’t write this league any more perfect. Rangers have been unstoppable!

🤣🤣🤣 Magnificent. However, I fully expect the plastic hardman to lead his team to another defeat before then. Will be great to see him clap the champions into the pitch on the 21 March though.

Scott Brown will be remembered as the captain who lost ten and was the “leader” who led his team to the most disappointing season ever. 😊

Rangers fans are in jubilant mood as the season enters, well, it’s final quarter with the club lightyears ahead of their Celtic rivals on and off the pitch.
One Ibrox legend has also taken aim at the suggestion that Celtic threw this title away as he heaped praise on the performances of the Gers this season.
