Rangers fans have been paying tribute to Graeme Murty via a defected Castore jersey as one supporter saw the sponsors of the club’s new 3rd shirt turned upside down.
Manufacturing defects occur in the production of clothing but are supposed to be interjected by quality control processes.

However, one appears to have slipped through the net as the club’s Unibet sponsor on the Gers’ new purple kit is stamped on the front of the jersey upside down.
Rangers fans have been having some fun with the jersey on Twitter with retailers Castore sure to be red-faced and purple-cheeked about the cock-up.
Fans have been jokingly claiming the Castore kit belongs to Graeme Murty – who remains a leading figure in the Rangers Academy – as they recall the two-time interim boss’ famous headstand in a defeat to Dundee in February 2017.

The world of social media is a ruthless one and Castore will be rueing letting this upside-down offering slip through their net.
Not that all Rangers fans will be angry; kit collectors appreciate the uniqueness of these jerseys and one day it could potentially be worth a fortune.
But it probably just depends what the Ibrox side can win in the purple jersey which has already got negative connotations after the recent Malmo FF Champions League loss.
The Gers were forced to launch the kit early because Malmo did not have suitable away kit available in a move which baffled supporters.
“This highly-anticipated kit was originally scheduled to launch later this month but due to the limited kit options made available by tonight’s opponents, UEFA’s regulations stipulate that Rangers must debut the kit tonight,” reads a Gers statement [Rangers].
“Purple kits have been worn by some of the most iconic Rangers players in our history including Brian Laudrup, Ally McCoist and Richard Gough.
“Our purple 1994/1995 kit is one of the most sought after collector’s items available in Rangers’ kit history and now all supporters have the chance to own this famous shirt at home.
“The kit proudly displays our 150th anniversary commemorative crest and is crafted from sublimely lightweight, breathable, and moisture wicking fabric.”
Speaking of Castore, Rangers fans have been joking with their Newcastle United counterparts who got a rude awakening regarding the cost of some of the “premium” retailer’s items.
