There would’ve been plenty left despondent by Rangers overcoming St. Mirren in Paisley on Scottish Premiership duty this week.
The Ibrox side came away 2-0 victors against Jim Goodwin’s side two weeks on from that Betfred Cup exit which had some hoping for a repeat of the Buddies’ 3-2 victory.
Ex-Celtic forward Andy Walker was reporting on the match for Sky Sports and his halftime analysis of the game had some Rangers fans thinking that this could apply to him.
The pundit was speaking as the Gers took a two-nil lead into the halftime break and spent much of the clip despondently describing a missed St. Mirren chance in the early stages.
Walker when then be snapped covering the match at full-time – admittedly slightly less despondent.
Some Rangers fans who caught the pundit’s commentary in action took to Twitter to react to footage of the ex-Parkhead star apparently seeming upset by the result.
Walker isn’t always the most popular pundit or commentator amongst Rangers fans and for some fans, Rangers clearly aren’t always Walker’s cup of tea either:

Walker isn’t the only one who’s been receiving no regards from the Rangers support in the wake of the victory at St. Mirren Park.
Buddies boss Jim Goodwin was also getting it tight from Gers fans after his pre-match comments about the Ibrox club and penalty shouts this season.
