Rangers fans have been having some fun after images emerged of some of the club’s players skipping across a car park to have a shower after the win over Dundee.

The likes of Jon McLaughlin, Kemar Roofe and John Lundstram were snapped in their towels as they headed for a wash after the Gers defeated the Dee 1-0 courtesy of a Joe Aribo strike.

Whilst there’s a little bit of confusion as to why the players were floating around outside Dens Park in their towels, the situation has been attributed to Covid-19 rules.

Apparently, due to rules implemented because of the pandemic players must use a separate shower block from the Dundee stadium.

Nonetheless, Rangers fans couldn’t resist having a joke as a result of the players skipping across the tarmac and took to Twitter to react to the pictures.

Others feel the images don’t show the Scottish game up in the best light and have branded the situation tinpot:

Rangers ran out 1-0 winners in Dundee but it was far from a comfortable performance from the Ibrox club.

The Gers are yet to get fully firing this season and were lucky to escape Dens Park with all three points in what was yet another lacklustre display.

Jon McLaughlin saved a second half Jason Cummings penalty to win the day for Rangers but Dundee spurned a host of openings in the match.

However, the Ibrox side held on to secure all three points and retain a one-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership this weekend.

Rangers fans have also been chuckling as the club’s biggest rivals meltdown over a red card that never was during the match.
