Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to bemoan the international break as the club’s supporters eagerly count down the seconds until the Gers kick a ball again.

Unfortunately the club’s supporters will have to wait until Sunday evening when the Ibrox side face Cove Rangers in the Scottish Cup.

Whilst there are a wealth of Rangers star out impressing for their country, many Rangers fans continue to lambast the international break which keeps them away from the Ibrox side.

Steven Davis might be on the verge of breaking the British caps record for Northern Ireland and Ianis Hagi might’ve even got off the mark for Romania, but international football is not the preserve of many Rangers supporters.

Similarly, Glen Kamara might be impressing for Finland, Borna Barisic might be congratulating a Real Madrid legend and Filip Helander might’ve kept two straight clean sheets for Sweden, but the international game still doesn’t get a fire burning for a large chunk of the Ibrox legions.

Then there’s Sco… Right, we’ll leave it there.

This is the final international fortnight of the season but it hasn’t stopped plenty of Gers fans taking to Twitter to criticise the drawn out break:

Rangers have already been crowned Champions but there remains plenty to play for this season as the club look to both go unbeaten and secure further silverware with the Scottish Cup.

However the club’s upcoming Scottish Cup opponents may well rue a decision they took last season regarding an ex-Ibrox star who attended the New Year Old Firm.
