Rangers fans enjoyed the club’s trip to France as they came back with the Veolia Trophy – but the club’s supporters have also been enjoying an unlikely bromance flourishing in the process.
When Alfredo Morelos’ right-hand man/translator Daniel Candeias left Rangers, there was a fear that the Colombian would miss his amigo from Portugal.
But since Candeias has left Morelos is routinely pictured with Northern Irish international winger Jordan Jones, much to the envy of the Rangers support.

The two regularly sit beside each other on flights and travelling to and from matches with both proudly bigging each other on social media.
It’s a bromance which has got the Ibrox support excited and hopefully this helps foster a positive atmosphere that enables both players to reach their potential.
The fact that Morelos speaks little English doesn’t seem to be hampering their relationship too much either.

Morelos, 24, is a talismanic hero at Ibrox and there’s hard to think of a player more revered by the Ibrox crowd in recent years than the talented striker.
It never quite happened for Jones, 25, in his first season at Ibrox but he’ll be hoping to make a bigger impression this campaign, if he doesn’t end out on loan.
