Rangers fans are loving footage of a young fan completing a skill challenge as Rangers Soccer Schools put future stars to the test via social media.

The club have called upon parents to send in videos of their Rangers-supporting kids completing various challenges as a distraction amid the current global health crisis.

The club’s media team have pledged to share the best efforts on the main Rangers FC Twitter page and on Wednesday morning, a youngster in full kit – with Defoe #9 on the back – showed off his impressive shooting skills.

Later in the afternoon, though, a particularly creative effort from a different aspiring player attracted as much, if not more attention.

Also wearing the Gers home shirt, this youngster setΒ up a toilet roll at the top of the stairs as if taking a free-kick, before using his right foot to send it down to the landing and perfectly onto a holder.

We’re not sure how many attempts he had prior to this one, but the combination of utter disbelief and joy in his reaction suggests he wasn’t expecting to succeed.


β€˜I got it daddy!” he shouts, in what sounds very much like a Belfast accent, before clutching the Rangers badge in celebration.

Unsurprisingly, the footage has gone down a storm on Twitter, with the video racking up over 2000 likes and the young Bear receiving plenty of praise.
