Rangers fan group the Union Bears have released a statement speaking out against the club’s decision making.
The impassioned letter comes after the Union Bears took part in a protest inside Ibrox in the recent match against Dundee. They make it clear in the statement the motivations for the protests.
The group point to the rejection of a move to accomodate their growing numbers and the rejection of a safe-standing proposal.

In the statement, the Rangers fan group say they learned that the club rejected proposals for a safe-standing area and a move to BF3 at Ibrox.
The group say the move is necessary because the Union Bears “feel we have outgrown our current our current section in BF1”.
The statement is largely very positive and reiterates continuously the group’s main ambition to improve the matchday experience for fans.
They sum this up by saying “we truly believe we can; as a support, create a match day spectacle to match the size and standard of our illustrious club”.
The statement is aimed at canvassing fan support for their recommendations. They want fellow supporters to encourage the club to listen to the Rangers fan group and their suggestions.

The Union Bears are a vocal part of the Ibrox crowd. They also contribute massively to the fan experience through impressive displays and by drumming up an atmosphere.
The Union Bears were founded in 2007 and share the singing sections in the Broomloan Front with The Blue Order.
The Rangers fan group also released a special video in December looking back on the club’s European run this season.
