A journalist claims Rangers are expected to “ramp up” their “long-standing interest” in Croatia and NK Osijek striker Mirko Maric – if Alfredo Morelos moves to Lille.
The 6ft2 striker was the joint top scorer in the Croatian First League last season, hitting 20 goals in 35 1.HNL games.
The Ibrox side are said to have resurrected their interest by reliable Balkans based journalist Filip Mishov.
The Croat is one of a few options to replace the Colombian, but other clubs are interested in Marić too. #RangersFC

Mishov claims that there are a host of other clubs watching Maric, 25, who has two caps for Croatia.
Back in January Mishov claimed that Maric would cost over £3m for Rangers with the left-footed forward a key part of the NK Osijek team.
I'm not saying Marić won't join #Rangers in January, but I believe they will have to pay a much higher fee then £3 million…

Rangers have previously worked closely with NK Osijek before having signed both left-back Borna Barisic and Eros Grezda from the club.
Albanian international Grezda returned to Osijek in January after struggling to settle in Scotland.
The links come after reports in France claim Lille have agreed personal terms with Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, with the clubs now negotiating a fee.
A report in the Daily Mail [print 23/07/20, p.89] claimed Lille were willing to spend up to £15m on Morelos but Rangers are believed to value the Colombian closer to £20m.
