Rangers’ Euro rivals Brondby slipped up again at the weekend as their dire form continues ahead of their trip to Ibrox later this month.

The Gers, who have lost both of their Europa League Group A matches so far, take on the Danish giants in their next two fixtures in the competition.

Six points are required to get the Light Blues back on track to reach the knockout stages and Steven Gerrard and co. certainly won’t be intimidated by Niels Frederiksen’s side’s form.

Brondby dropped points in the Superliga on Sunday, coming from behind to draw 1-1 at Randers courtesy of an own goal from opposition centre-back Simon Graves Jensen.

The result leaves the reigning Danish champions sitting eighth in the 12-team top flight with just twelve points from their opening eleven fixtures.

They’ve won just two matches to date, drawing six and losing the other three.

They’ve less than half the points earned by current leaders FC Midtjylland, while they’re on track to be in the relegation round when the league splits in two.

Brondby may be sitting above the Gers in the Europa League Group A standings with a point to their name, but they could barely be in worse form with the Ibrox meeting between the two clubs just over a fortnight away.

In other news, a striker Rangers seemingly opted against bringing back to Ibrox netted a brace at the weekend as his strong form continues.
