Philippe Clement is a demanding figure in the Rangers dugout, that he got booked in the 97th minute with his team 3-1 up says it all about his determintation to succeed.
The Gers boss was remonstrating with officials in front of an Ibrox crowd that was pushing it’s team to the goal needed to go top of the Scottish Premiership.
He wasn’t the only one that was fired up though as an early incident in the first-half showed how much of an influence Philippe Clement is having on this Rangers team.

Philippe Clement fires Rangers rocket as duo clash
There was an intensity about the Light Blues performance that showed they meant business and it was only a surprise that it took as long as five minutes to open the scoring.
By full-time, a ridiculous 43 attempts had been made, 20 on target, the post was hit three times and four goal bound attempts had been blocked or cleared with the keeper stranded.
Despite what he said pre-match, it was clear that Philippe Clement wanted Rangers to end the night on top of the league.
At 1-0 up and after 25 minutes, we could already have been three or four goals infront.
Rabbi Matondo had missed a couple of chances when he should have done better and Cyriel Dessers could already have secured the match ball.
Ross County had defended resolutely, however, one lapse saw keeper George Wickens stranded and presented the duo with a great opportunity to make it 2-0.
Dessers took an early shot and fired straight at the County stopper which saw Matondo vent his frustration as he stood in acres of space and an empty net to aim at.
Usually the picture of tranquility, Dessers fired back at Matondo, far from impressed with the 23-year old having a go at him.
Two players both wanting to score goals, losing the rag at an opportunity missed.
All it shows is how determined the pair were to add another goal and that Philippe Clement’s message is getting through to the Rangers squad.
There is a fighting spirit bristling under the surface.
If it was good enough for Ally McCoist and Paul Gascoigne, it’s good enough for Cyriel Dessers and Rabbi Matondo.
