Rangers will kick off their post-split Scottish Premiership fixtures away to Motherwell and end the season at Hearts as the final five games of the season were officially confirmed.
Reports had suggested that Rangers would face a trip to Celtic Park in the first game of the split, decided at the weekend with the top six and bottom six sides facing off against each other in the final five games respectively.
But Rangers will now visit their Old Firm rivals in the second fixture of the post-split round with the Gers then hosting Dundee United and Ross County at Ibrox.
Taking place between the 24th of April and the 14th of May, these games will decide the outcome of the Scottish Premiership with Rangers currently trailing arch rivals Celtic by six points.
The Parkhead side also have a vastly superior goal difference and it’s a tall order for Rangers to turn things around as it stands.
Rangers hand Celtic title advantage in season of domestic disappointment
Losing 2-1 at Ibrox in a championship six-pointer has swung the momentum in Celtic’s favour and it’s a moment that is threatening to overshadow the season.
But if Rangers fans are honest, this has been a season often defined by lacklustre domestic displays, infighting and off field drama that has not helped the club’s cause.

Rangers have not managed their title defence at all well and should really be out of sight rather than trailing their rivals so heavily.
But nonetheless supporters will cheer the side on with 15 points to play for and all things considered, it wouldn’t be the first time the title has been taken to the final day of the season.
Meanwhile, Rangers have channeled the spirt of a famous pop group as they launch a campaign to sell season tickets ahead of the next season.
