Rangers had to grind it out against Dundee, for too long they were second best and looked like they were going to be on the end of yet another domestic defeat.
Barry Ferguson wanted Rangers to dig deep and, to an extent, this is what he saw, but only after his side were 2-0 and 3-1 down.
The comeback was well received, however, Rangers only had themselves to blame for finding themselves in that situation in the first place.
Too soft, second to every loose ball and not clearing their lines, all problems that have haunted the whole campaign.
One person who wasn’t happy with what he was watching and one individual in particular was John Brown, the Hall of Fame legend who was on commentary duty for Rangers TV.

Leon Balogun told to toughen up for Rangers
Nils Koppen will target more Scots to help with the physicality of the Rangers squad, but nationality shouldn’t affect how aggressive or resilient a player is.
With Rangers at 2-0 down, Brown noticed something that didn’t go down too well.
After Cyriel Dessers had an effort cleared off the line, Leon Balogun reacted first only to hurt himself in the process with Brown reacting:
“He likes a knock. I’d like to see my centre-half be tougher, just take it and get on with it.”
It’s a throwaway line, but one that is entirely justified.
Robin Propper has been hooked on too many occasions this season, Balogun has also been subbed six times.
If Rangers want to win the league, having centre-halves who have the robustness to start and finish every game is crucial.
They should also have the ability to avoid situations like the one against Dundee.
Who are the Rangers players who are out of contract in the summer?
Balogun is one of five Rangers players who are out of contract in the summer having made 24 appearances so far.
There is no doubting his qualities as an individual and as a presence around the dressing room, but he will be 37 in the summer and no more resistant to injury than he is now.
It was hoped that Propper would take on more of a leadership role having been Twente’s captain before joining, however, he just hasn’t been good enough for Rangers.
Balogun might not be the only experience leaving Ibrox this summer with Tom Lawrence and Ianis Hagi also out of contract.
As things stand, it doesn’t look like any of them will be lining up for Rangers next season freeing up a lot of room on the wage bill in the process.
