Rangers considered a move to land former Premier League midfielder Igor Biscan as the new man in the Ibrox hot seat.
Michael Beale was given the axe two weeks ago and we have seen a number of names linked with replacing him in the Ibrox dugout.
Rangers appear to be zeroing in on Kevin Muscat and Philippe Clement as the top two targets, with others falling by the wayside.
Plenty of other names have been linked over the last fortnight and another one is now emerging…
Rangers allegedly considered Igor Biscan move
The Sun report that Croatian coach Igor Biscan was on the Rangers shortlist as he seeks a return to management.
It’s stated that Biscan wants a managerial job in Britain having featured in the Premier League in his playing days.
Rangers seemingly explored a move for Biscan but he looks unlikely to be making the move to Ibrox.
The 45-year-old earned 15 caps for Croatia as a player and turned out for the likes of Dinamo Zagreb and Panathinaikos.
Now showing promise as a coach, Biscan allegedly received interest from Rangers and is ready for opportunities elsewhere, likely in England.

How has Biscan fared as a manager?
Fans may remember Biscan as a player but he moved into coaching back in 2016, aged just 38.
Biscan joined the Rudes coaching staff before landing the top job there, winning 19 of his 36 games in charge.
Slovenian side Olimpija Ljubljana pounced in 2017, and despite winning the league title with just four defeats to his name, Biscan was sacked after just a year in the job.
Biscan headed back to Croatia with Rijeka, again excelling with 26 wins from 43 games before resigning in September 2019.
Biscan returned to management just a week later, becoming Croatia Under-21 boss as he won 15 of his 25 games to land a huge move to Dinamo Zagreb in April of this year.
Despite just two defeats in 17, Biscan was sacked in August and is now seeking a return to management.
98 wins and 29 defeats in 165 games as a manager is hugely impressive, so we can understand why Rangers looked into Biscan.
Maybe Biscan is one coach that Rangers will keep close tabs on for the future, especially if he lands a job in England this season.
