Rangers vice-captain, Connor Goldson, has spoken out about his teammates during an interview for the Official Rangers Podcast.
The Gers’ defensive record has been outstanding recently.
Conceding just two goals across the entirety of February, was a fantastic effort.

Over that time, the side put together a run of five consecutive clean sheets, as Goldson and Joe Worrall formed a solid centre-back pairing.
It wasn’t all down to those two, though.
James Tavernier, Andy Halliday and Borna Barisic all contributed, while first-choice goalkeeper, Allan McGregor, performed admirably as usual.

However, Goldson ensured that a fringe player also got credit for his displays.
Wes Foderingham.

The 28-year-old deputised for McGregor when he served a two-match suspension for violent conduct.
During those two fixtures against St Johnstone and Kilmarnock, he recorded two clean sheets.

Against the Saints, he was particularly impressive. Without his contributions, Gerrard’s men could have easily lost the game.
“We’ve kept clean sheets recently”, Goldson told the Official Rangers Podcast.
“With Greegsy and Wes, to be fair. Wes did brilliant when he came in, so it’s been good.”

It’s good to see Foderingham getting some praise during what has been difficult season for the Englishman.

McGregor’s return has seen him relegated to second choice. Therefore, he has only made six appearances in all competitions under Steven Gerrard.
It’s a real testament to his professionalism that he stood in last month and didn’t put a foot wrong.
