Rangers have confirmed an exciting RangersTV lineup for Saturday afternoon’s Premiership fixture against Celtic at Ibrox [Rangers.co.uk].
The Gers come into the Old Firm on a remarkable 13-game winning streak in the league and have only lost once in 32 matches in all competitions so far this season.
Gerrard’s men triumphed 2-0 at Parkhead in the first derby of the season in October and another victory on Saturday afternoon would stretch their lead at the top of the table to a whopping 19 points, with Celtic holding three games in hand.
With the contest taking place behind closed doors, RangersTV will be providing matchday coverage for season-ticket holders.
RangersTV broadcasts customarily start 30 minutes before kick-off but Saturday’s programme will begin at 11:50 am due to additional content which will mark the 50th anniversary of the Ibrox Disaster.
A high-quality team has been assembled, with Emma Dodds hosting and popular regular pundit Neil McCann also on duty.
Joining them in the studio will be special guest, Walter Smith, the legendary former Rangers manager who was at the helm at Ibrox between 1991 and 1998 and again between 2007 and 2011.
Across his two stints, Smith won ten league titles, five Scottish Cups and six League Cups, while he also led the Gers to the 2007/08 UEFA Cup final.
Tom Miller will be the lead commentator for the game, with former Rangers midfielder and current B team coach Kevin Thomson alongside him on the gantry.
With Sky Sports also showing the match (coverage starting at 11:30 am), there is no Pay-Per-View option for the broadcast which is open to season ticket holders only.
