Rangers are once again set to lock horns with Celtic in the transfer market over the signing of Kilmarnock and Scotland left-back Greg Taylor.
The talented 21-year-old had a superb season at Rugby Park earning himself a call-up to the Scotland squad. He made his international debut against Belgium, where the youngster impressed despite a 3-0 loss.
And now the Daily Record is claiming that Rangers, Celtic and Hull City are all monitoring the player’s situation.
The Record report leads with Hull City’s interest, saying the English outfit are long-term admirers of the player. It even claims their Head of Recruitment Lee Darnbrough watched him last season.
The inference here is that Greg Taylor can act as the next Andy Robertson, per se. Robertson joined Hull from Dundee United for a knockdown fee, before joining Liverpool for £8m and the rest is history.
Where Rangers and Celtic come into play is when the Daily Record claim both sides are “interested” in the youngster. But it does claim that both sides of the Old Firm need to sell in the position first.

As for the cost, the Record claims Hull value Taylor at £400k, but acknowledges his transfer value is “growing by the day”.
The likes of former Aberdeen full-back Max Lowe have already been linked to Rangers [Daily Record] after the Ibrox side struggled at left-back last season.
