Rangers manager Gio van Bronckhorst has provided an update on Nnamdi Ofoborh, who is yet to play for the club despite arriving from Bournemouth in the summer.
Fans were excited to see what Ofoborh would add to the midfield options at Ibrox when he reported for pre-season.

However, their hopes of him making a big impression were quickly dashed by the results of a heart scan.
“Unfortunately there’s been a bit of a red flag with a heart issue so he’s going to see some specialists in the coming weeks and we need to do more tests before we move forward,” said Steven Gerrard in July [Sky Sports].
Fast-forward several months and there’s been little further information provided on Ofoborh, so during Friday’s press conference ahead of the Premiership fixture against Dundee, one reporter took the opportunity to get an update from Gio.
“At the moment, he’s still being tested,” said the manager [RangersTV]. “I spoke with him when I arrived and we just have to wait until he sees the doctors and the results and we can go from there.”
“But, so far, nothing is decided.”

Rangers boss provides Nnamdi Ofoborh update
This is disappointing news for Rangers fans as it doesn’t sound like a debut is on the cards any time soon for Ofoborh.
The 22-year-old must be incredibly frustrated with how things are playing out, but hopefully he’s staying in good spirits, knowing that his health is the most important thing.
Despite Ofoborh’s absence, the manager still has plenty of options in midfield, particularly now that Ryan Jack is back available following a long spell on the sidelines.
There’s also an outstanding attacking midfielder coming up through the ranks at Ibrox.
