As Rangers continued their resurgent form with a dominant and well-deserved victory over Hibs, a special Giovanni van Bronckhorst also caught the attention.
Rangers once again started ferociously and went up courtesy of a James Tavernier penalty before a second half Alfredo Morelos strike completed the scoring in a 2-0 win.
But whilst the likes of the club’s captain and El Bufalo grabbed the headlines on the park, a silky van Bronckhorst touch off it has had fans salivating ever since.
The legendary former Dutch midfielder-turned-full-back had quite the playing career and Gio rolled back the years to pluck the ball out of the sky and control it with the sole of his foot.
It was genuinely a remarkable moment and shows that you never quite lose it, as the Rangers team would’ve found out in the rondos the manager regularly takes part in.

As Hibs defender Rocky Bashiri launched a cross-field pass out over the touchline, van Bronckhorst was there to coolly control the ball without breaking a sweat.
A former midfielder for Rangers of course, Giovanni van Bronckhorst, 47, spent his entire career at the top level and joined the Gers from Feyenoord in 1998 after winning two cups with the Dutch club.
Winning five trophies whilst at Ibrox, including two league titles, van Bronckhorst also won the Premier League with Arsenal and four trophies with Barcelona, including two La Ligas and a Champions League.
Then there’s just the 106 Netherlands caps and the one World Cup Final as captain.
The Dutchman’s start in management hasn’t been too bad either, winning Feyenoord their first league title in 18 years and five trophies in total before leaving the club.
For Rangers fans it’ll take more than a touch from van Bronckhorst to convince them of his managerial credentials but it’s certainly a reminder of the former player’s talents.
