Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is set to hold true to his promise and rotate the Ibrox squad for the trip to Lech Poznan with qualification for the Europa League last 32 already confirmed.
The Ibrox gaffer had mentioned after the victory over Ross County that he was ready to hand some players an opportunity against the Poles and reiterated this ahead of the trip to Poznan.
Challenging those who’ve found opportunities hard to come by amid a rampant run of Rangers form, Gerrard still believes the squad picked will have enough to secure victory and top the group.
“I think you’ll see that (changes) in the team selection and in the squad that we’ve brought,” said Gerrard [Rangers].
“Certain individuals will be protected.
“I obviously don’t want to give anything away in terms of the team but I think it’ll be quite clear tomorrow that we will make decisions for the future in tomorrow’s team selection.
“Having said that we’ll still pick a team that we believe I very strong, we’ll pick a team which has individuals in who’ve been waiting for an opportunity.
“So we think it’s a really important night for a lot of different reasons.
“I’m not going to change the whole team for sure but there will definitely be changes from the weekend.”
Rangers boss Gerrard did confirm that South African international midfielder Bongani Zungu will start the match in Poland.
The Gers boss has also clearly alluded to a host of different changes around the squad with Rangers on fine form and opportunities limited of late as a result.

With the likes of Joe Aribo, Ianis Hagi and Cedric Itten all desperate for an opportunity and all quality options, the match against Lech could be a big night for their ambitions this season.
Rangers fans are eager to see Amiens loanee Zungu in proper action and Gerrard has been speaking about how excited he is to give Zungu an opportunity.
