Before Rangers travel to Aberdeen on Sunday, there’s time to reflect on the team’s efforts over the last month.
On the whole, February went extremely well.
As a result, Steven Gerrard should be in the running for recognition.

It started with a 4-0 drubbing of St Mirren, before a few demons were banished, at Pittodrie.
The Rangers boss had only taken one draw from three previous games against Derek McInnes’ side, but this time around, he put that right.
A late introduction of Jermain Defoe, helped sealed the points in style.
After that, there was a little bit of a slump. Consecutive stalements against St Johnstone and Kilmarnock were tough to watch.

However, despite the disappointing displays, importantly, neither ended in defeat.
Since then, the goals have begun to flow again.
Kilmarnock, Hamilton and Dundee were all swept aside,
Overall, Gerrard’s men managed 22 goals in seven matches, alongside six clean sheets.

When you take out the cup ties, you’re left with four wins, a draw and just two goals conceded in the league.
Surely, that’s enough to earn Steven Gerrard the SPL Manager of the Month award.
He was overlooked in favour of Tommy Wright, in November.
This time, though, the numbers speak for themselves.
