Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has responded after first-team coach Michael Beale posted brilliant Ibrox content on Instagram.
The Gers host Hearts in the Premiership on Saturday afternoon, with a host of international stars expected back in Glasgow over the next day or two.
A scan of Beale’s social media reveals that after a quick trip away, he’s been back in Glasgow for several days.
He’s been at the Rangers Training Centre for sessions with the non-internationals before taking in some of the other sports action the city has to offer in the evenings, including watching the Glasgow Tigers Speedway team and the Glasgow Warriors Rugby Union side.
The 41-year-old was at back Ibrox on Wednesday afternoon, though, not as part of the preparations for the weekend’s top-of-the-table clash, but with his family for some snaps with the Premiership trophy.
The Gers coach shared pictures from the trophy room, the changing rooms and pitchside, captioning the post: “We finally got the Beale kids together for a photo with the trophy.”
Beale is already extremely popular with the Rangers support and, unsurprisingly, this content went down very well.
By the time of writing, the post had racked up over 4k likes and scores of Bears had left comments praising him.
Rangers’ official account responded with a blue heart emoji and manager Steven Gerrard responded with clapping and fire emojis.
Gerrard and Beale have been on quite a journey together at Ibrox over the last few years and it was no doubt a special moment for the latter to take his kids to the ground to show off the silverware that he played such a big part in winning last season.
