Steven Gerrard has delivered a fitness update on three key Rangers players ahead of Wednesday night’s fixture against Hibernian [Official Rangers FC Twitter].
The Gers take on the Hibees at Easter Road in the Premiership, as they look to at least maintain their 23-point lead at the top of the table, with Celtic in action against Hamilton at Parkhead.

Hibs were comfortably beaten by St Johnstone in a League Cup semi-final at the weekend but they are one of only three teams to take points off Rangers in the league this season.
Ahead of the game, Gerrard has expressed concerns about the condition of the Easter Road pitch, but the Gers don’t appear to have any fresh injury worries.
“Ryan Jack all fine after the weekend, really pleased with his performance,” he said [Official Rangers FC Twitter]. “Roofe never came on the pitch as he had only had one full days training but he has had more volume and will be in the squad tomorrow.”
“Arfield is progressing well and on schedule for a couple of weeks.”

No fresh update was provided on Nikola Katic, who has been out since sustaining a serious knee injury in pre-season.
It’s a big boost to have Jack and Roofe available though, with Jack’s return bringing extra bite and quality to the midfield and Roofe providing subtly in and around the penalty area and a big goal threat.
The Gers drew 2-2 with Hibs at Easter Road in September but triumphed 1-0 over Jack Ross’ side at Ibrox on Boxing Day and will be confident that they can make it seven points from a possible nine on Wednesday.
A transfer clause is set to benefit Rangers on the night, with Hibernian understrength for the contest.
