Crocked Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack is back in full training with an Ibrox injury update given on a quintet of injured Gers stars.
Speaking to the press ahead of the club’s trip to Motherwell, Rangers boss Steven Gerrard provided an update on Ryan Jack, Kemar Roofe, George Edmundson, Scott Arfield and Nikola Katic.
Gerrard confirmed that George Edmundson would be out for the next 3-4 weeks after a “small procedure” whilst Nikola Katic and Scott Arfield are progressing nicely.
The news comes with the club preparing to equal the 16-match winning post-war record set by Jock Wallace’s side in the 70s against Motherwell.
The return of Ryan Jack, 28, is a sizeable boost to Rangers’ chances.
An industrious and disciplined midfielder, Jack has developed his game impressively under the stewardship of Steven Gerrard and the club will be boosted by his return.
Ex-Aberdeen captain Jack has been troubled by a knee injury throughout his career and he will be hoping the worst is behind him as he returns to the fold at Rangers.
Since joining the club in 2017, Jacko has gone on to make 123 appearances, scoring 9 goals and laying on 11 assists.
The midfielder is also now a key member of the Scotland team and has earned 10 caps for his country, helping them to Euro 2020 qualification through the playoffs.
Earlier in the campaign, a senior figure at Ibrox paid tribute to Jack who he claimed was “blossoming” at Rangers over the last few seasons.
