The famous Argyle House restaurant at Rangers’ Ibrox Stadium has been ranked in the top 100 restaurants in the whole of the United Kingdom.
OpenTable, an online restaurant-reservation service which is partnered with Booking.com, also ranked the restaurant as the Best Overall in Glasgow/Lanarkshire.
As part of the site’s annual Top 100, Argyle House takes pride of place alongside Notting Hill fine dining, established eateries and the most popular restaurants across Britain.

Excluding the top 10, restaurants are ranked alphabetically but it is a testament to the reputation and service at the classy Ibrox restaurant that it has made the list.
With high-quality traditional Scottish and British food, it is clearly proving a popular place amongst visitors to the famous ground.
The view on to the pitch at Ibrox isn’t exactly bad either.
So how did OpenTable come to this conclusion concerning Rangers’ Argyle House?
A range of factors including the hospitality, the experience and of course, the food.
“The OpenTable top 100 restaurants in the UK 2019 consistently serve up creative dishes, unparalleled hospitality and one-of-a-kind dining experiences, whatever the dining occasion,” reads the OpenTable website.

“This year’s top 100 list was determined by analysing more than 1,080,000 reviews from more than 8,500 restaurants across the UK – all submitted by verified diners.”
