Rangers are looking towards the future and have taken a significant step towards ensuring that it is a fruitful one.
Over the years, the Ibrox outfit have undergone hardship, and the hierarchy would not want a repeat of the horrors of the past.
The Rangers academy has always played a major role in shaping stars for the team, and fans will be delighted that it remains a bedrock of the board’s plans.

Rangers Youth Development Fund make six-figure donation
According to Rangers Review journalist Chris Jack, the Rangers Youth Development fund have made a significant contribution to the Auchenhowie academy.
They have added another £300,000 to the kitty to help the next generation of players at Govan.
This has taken the total amount to a whopping £12.5million for the youth development since 2002.
Callum Burnside, Findlay Curtis, Lewis Stewart, Mason Munn and Calum Adamson are among the recent Rangers graduates to have benefited from these donations.

Colin Stewart, RYDC director of operations, thanked the Gers supporters for their efforts and made promises to continue working hard for a bright future.
He said: “It is a great pleasure to present another £300,000 to the Rangers Academy.
“A huge thank you to the Rangers fanbase who continue to back us by investing in our products on a weekly basis. That incredible support has allowed us to generate another significant six-figure sum for the Academy.
“We have been working tirelessly for the past year to raise funds for our youth department and we have now provided £12.5 million since 2002.
“Every single penny of profit from our online store, Rangers Lotto, The Union Jackpot and Stadium Bricks is given to the Academy to help the development of our youth players and it is always a thrill to see homegrown players making it into the first team.
“RYDC has also given away hundreds of thousands of pounds in prizes to fans and in the last year, our supporters shared over £300,000 in prize money, which includes our bumper Big Blue Jackpot prize of at least £12,000 at the end of each month.
“We will continue to work as hard as we can to generate more funds for youth development at the club.”

What does this news mean for Auchenhowie
Auchenhowie has undergone significant upgrades over the years and the plan would be for things to continue to improve.
There could be more high-quality training pitches with the influx of cash to increase sessions for multiple age groups.
They could also invest in technology to improve player recovery and give coaches better tools for analysing training sessions and matches.
Rangers could also look to strengthen coaching and development pathways that could lead to the influx of bringing in specialist coaches.
The Ibrox outfit may consider expanding individual development plans, mental health support, and education introduction for their younger academy graduates.
This would have a cascading effect on the senior side and fans will get to see more young players vying for first-team places in the coming years.
Gers supporters will hope that the new owners take youth development seriously and help take the club to the next level and potentially become serial title winners in the coming years.
