The first Old Firm derby of the season has been moved back to the 1st of September for television coverage, the club has announced.
With the original match scheduled for the 31st of August, it means Rangers will now meet Celtic on the Sunday instead of the Saturday of that weekend.
This is normally the form for the Old Firm derby and the first encounter of 19/20 will kick-off at 12 pm. It is to be televised by Sky Sports.
It’s not the only match which has been rearranged for television either.
The club has also announced that the match with St. Mirren, which was originally scheduled for Saturday 24th of August, will now take place on Sunday 25th August with a kick-off time of 12:15 pm.
With these kinds of announcements, it also means the season is getting closer.
The feeling of excitement in the air at Ibrox is palpable and Rangers fans are desperate to get the campaign underway.

The Ibrox club then hosts Hibs at Ibrox, before visiting St. Mirren and then preparing for the challenge of Celtic at Ibrox.
