But the club have somewhat shot themselves in the foot by setting the cost of a ticket so high for this one.
Rangers came under fire after setting the price of the match at £27. It’s a Cup replay, on a Wednesday night and towards the end of the month.
It’s actually not on at all. No wonder there’s been a dip in the amount of fans who’ve taken up briefs.
Rangers will struggle to fill the stadium and that’s a shame given how important this match is. After stumbling against St. Johnstone at the weekend, this could well be Rangers last chance of silverware this season.
That means they need the full support of the fans to get through what will be a challenging game.
Ibrox is normally rocking for these kinds of games and Rangers have given themselves a bigger task to fill it with pricing issues.
The fact they’ve introduced pay-at-the-gate proves it.
Rangers v Kilmarnock kicks off at 7:45 with the winners of the tie securing a salivating Quarter Final tie away to Aberdeen.
