Rangers have announced a new sleeve partnership with premium tyre manufacturer Tomket Tires as the club steps up its international partnership portfolio.

The Czech based company is also the tyre partner of Serie A club Fiorentina and their branding will adorn the sleeve of the Ibrox club’s shirts.

Rangers took to their website to announce that the company will have a “significant presence” around Ibrox including on the interview backdrops and the LED boards.

James Bisgrove, Rangers director of commercial & marketing, welcomed the move.

“We are delighted to announce another significant new partnership within our commercial family ahead of the 2020/21 season,” said Bisgrove [Rangers].

“Tomket Tires, the clubs first ever sleeve partner, are a brand well regarded for their high performance and Tomket have a number of exciting activation plans that will allow them to maximize our partnership together across Europe.”

The announcement of Tomket to the club’s growing list of partners comes only 24 hours after Rangers announced Seko Logistics as the club’s logistics partner.

International freighting company Seko Logisitcs had revenues of over $750m (£579.5m) in 2018 [Reuters] and their partnership with Rangers highlights the strength of both brands.

“Seko will also play an integral role in the distribution of Rangers merchandise to supporters in all corners of the world and, together with Castore, we’ll be working in unison to ensure the global logistics operation for Rangers products is second to none,” explains James Bisgrove [Rangers].

Seko’s branding will adorn the next of the club’s kit as Rangers look to develop mutually beneficial and financially valuable relationships with a host of world-renowned brands.

These relationships help to promote the Rangers brand around the world whilst also highlighting the goods and services of the club’s partners.
