Rangers have announced plans for an exciting project which will be the ‘first of its kind in Scotland’ [Rangers.co.uk].
A ‘dream scene’ painting has been commissioned which is set to be unveiled in March 2022 during the club’s 150th anniversary birthday month celebrations.

Jamie Cooper is the artist who has been given the task of bringing together the club’s most famous players and moments into one large work, which will be housed in the club’s museum.
Cooper has already created similar works for Premier League clubs Liverpool, Chelsea and Leeds United.
‘The dream scene will not only reflect famous figures and trophies from our history but also numerous unique details and stories from our past,’ reads a section of the announcement [Rangers.co.uk].
The club are set to ask MyGers members for their opinions on what should be included, but all supporters have a chance to contribute ideas by emailing [email protected].
Rangers have also confirmed that limited edition replicas of the painting will be made available, with MyGers members and season ticket holders set to get access to priority windows.
Of course, the club museum isn’t actually a reality yet, as it will be inside the New Edmiston House, which is currently under construction.
This is an exciting project, though, and another example of the Gers going where no other club in Scotland has gone before.
Rangers are hoping to make seven-figure annual profits from New Edmiston House when it’s up and running, as in addition to housing the museum, it will be used as a fan zone as well as a concert and events venue.
Meanwhile, the club have congratulated a proud bluenose for a major sporting achievement.
