The last few days have seen two Rangers players cheekily urge Ryan Kent to sign for the club, or that the club signs Ryan Kent.
Andy Halliday left an amusing Instagram comment urging Rangers to “announce Kent”. A diehard bluenose himself, the midfielder is clearly enjoying the social media furore around the player.
Rangers fans have been peppering club accounts with the phrase as they’re desperate for the winger to sign on for another campaign. And Andy Halliday isn’t the only player doing the same.
Rangers star Connor Goldson has also cheekily urged Ryan Kent to sign for the club by leaving him a comment on an Instagram post.
The former Brighton centre half left a comment on one of Ryan Kent’s posts with a “signing” emoji, hinting that he also hopes the player signs on at Rangers.
More than anything, this shows just how much our current crop value the tricky winger. If the players want Kenty back, it can only be a sign of how well he has fit in at the club.
Rangers were said to be edging closer to securing a deal for the winger on loan [The Scottish Daily Mail (10/6, back page)].

But reports yesterday suggested Liverpool are holding out for a £12m transfer fee for him this season after a Leeds United loan-offer was rejected [Goal.com].
So just like the rest of us, Andy Halliday and Connor Goldson will just have to wait and see what happens.
