A quality RangersTV lineup has been confirmed for Thursday night’s Europa League playoff first leg between Rangers and Alashkert at Ibrox [Rangers.co.uk].
The Gers have dropped down into Europa League qualifying following their Champions League QR3 defeat to Malmö, while Alashkert reached this stage courtesy of a 3-2 win over Kairat Almaty in the previous round.

Rangers fans are still smarting from the Malmö upset but a 5-0 League Cup win over Dunfermline on Friday lifted the mood somewhat and it’s hard to beat a European night under the lights at Ibrox.
The match is expected to be close to a sellout but for those who can’t make it to the stadium, the action is available on RangersTV both in the UK and abroad.
Esteemed commentator Clive Tyldesley will be on the mic and he’ll be assisted by former Gers full-back Steven Smith.
Popular former players Neil McCann and Alex Rae will be on punditry duty in the studio and while the official update from Rangers failed to name a host for the coverage, it’s likely to be either Emma Dodds or Becky Ives.

The RangersTV match pass costs £9.99 but in a boost, fans will also then receive access to Rangers Women vs Man United Women, which kicks off at 5pm.
Rangers will be looking to make full use of home advantage to secure a sizeable lead ahead of the second leg in Yerevan, which falls just a few days before the first Old Firm of the season.
Steven Gerrard has a number of selection headaches going into the clash against the Armenian champions and plenty of fans have urged him to drop a key player for an exciting 21-year-old.
