Progres Niederkorn fans might’ve left Ibrox last night knowing their team have it all to do in Luxembourg next week, but that didn’t stop them joining Rangers fans for a drink after the game.
The European minnows have got a clearly dedicated travelling support and they followed their side to Ibrox as Rangers won 2-0.
Rangers fans then welcomed them into the Louden Tavern with open arms as the Luxembourgian supporters partied with the Ibrox legions.
In a week where the club began to constructively combat stereotypes attached to Ibrox with the Everyone, Anyone campaign, it’s great to see images of fans enjoying a drink together.
People can be quick to bash bluenoses when rival fans noise up Glasgow, but on occasions like this, it’s great to see rivals having a laugh.
The Progres Niederkorn fans look like they’re having a great time, and even if their team inflicted the worst result in Rangers’ history, they were welcomed by the home support.
Now, Rangers will be hoping for the same hospitality when the club returns to Luxembourg City next week.
